But there are some other MTN subscriptions that have auto-renew feature. This means that at the end of the validity period, the subscription will automatically renew itself as long as you have enough airtime for the subscription.

Now if you have a subscription that automatically renews itself and you don’t want it again, below are the various MTN subscriptions and the codes needed to cancel them. Find the list below the USSD code you need to cancel your MTN subscription.

For MTN monthly subscription such as tariff plans, all you have to do to cancel the subscription is to migrate/subscribe to another tariff plan that you desire by using the migration code of the new subscription you desire. But for some other subscriptions like internet plans, calling bundles, etc. you will have to deactivate them with their USSD deactivation codes. There are some other subscriptions to that you have to deactivate to stop them from automatic renewal. They include subscriptions such as MTN Data Plans, MTN XtraValue Bundles, MTN International Calling Bundles, and MTN CallerTunez.

To cancel MTN Data Plan Subscription, you will need to send NO + the USSD subscription code for the plan to 131. To make it simpler, below is the list of MTN Data Plans and the USSD code that you will send to 131


If you are on MTN XtraValue Plan, you can migrate to another MTN tariff plan to cancel your bundle subscription renewal. But to cancel an MTN XtraValue Bundle auto-renewal while still on MTN XtraValue, send No+Bundle code to 131. To simplify things, we have done the combination of each bundle for you.


To cancel MTN International Bundles Subscription, you will need to send NO + the USSD subscription code for the bundle to 131. To simplify things, below are the MTN International Bundles subscription and the USSD code that you will send to 131.
